8 oz: Approximately 50-55 hours - The container is ceramic with a natural bamboo lid.

4oz: About 30 to 35 hours - The container is made of ceramic.

2oz: About 10 hours - Metal container

It is very important to take care of your candle. Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep it away from windy areas. Also, a candle should not be lit for more than four hours at a time. How to take care of your candle If you are a fan of candles like us, you have probably already noticed that there is always a little wax left at the bottom of your jars, which can no longer burn because of the wick. The end of your beautiful Mimi & August candle does not necessarily mean the end of your ceramic pot! In fact, you can reuse them and do whatever you want with them!

Our story began in Camille's small craft workshop, in her parents' house. After studying design, she started creating custom-made swimsuits for her friends and family, not realizing that swimsuits were really popular around her. Shortly after, during a fashion show, she met Joao. Both decided to unite their know-how and create their first label "Mimi Hammer swimwear". At the end of summer 2015, they created their second label "August". With this label, they wanted to create well-designed products for an everyday lifestyle. This is why Mimi & August is the union between our two brands that share the same values. Illustration is at the heart of the Montreal-based company. We make each product unique and personalized, whether for swimwear, clothing or accessories.
