Oiled or waxed leather is sensitive to scratches. Within a short time, abrasion occurs, which can be seen in its patina characterized by bleaching, creasing and/or cracking - This is a desired effect. So that it retains its robust properties, wax-based care creams are quite suitable. As waxed leather, marks, scratches and signs of wear will appear and a rich patina, or shine, will increase over time.
