Discover a collaboration between two Canadian brands with the Cygne dress. The dress was designed by Cokluch, a Montréal based label known for style and sustainable ethos. This sewing pattern was crafted by Fionna Hanna to bring the design to you.  

This adorable dress has two front ruffles and a buttons in the back making it a cute look for everyday or a special outing. 

Sizing info:

The indie sewing pattern is available in kids sizes 2-10. The fit once finished runs large and is roomy so there's space for your little one to grow. See the size chart in the listing photos for sizing details.

Fabric suggestions:

This girls dress works with light and midweight woven fabrics. Its really cute with a double cotton gauze as seen in the second pic or a printed design like this pretty dotted one.

Materials needed:
- 1 to 2 1/2 yards fabric - light mid-weight woven fabric such as organic cotton, tencel, linen, quilting cotton or a mid to light weight denim. See the sizing chart in the last photo for specifics. 
- Four buttons - 3/8 or 1/2” (10 or 12 mm) size
- Single sided fusible interfacing - 2 by 11” (14 by 28 cm)
- Coordinating thread
- braided elastic 1/4” (1.5 cm) wide (see chart in the photos)

About the brand

About Fionna:
In 2010, I left a career in health sciences to pursue a creative path and began studying textiles at Sheridan College. In 2013, I started my small business which has been challenging, hard and a lot of fun.

My work has been shown at Toronto Fashion Week, NY Now and more. My collection of children's sewing patterns can be found in independent retailers across North America. I live in downtown Toronto, Ontario with my husband, daughter and 2 black cats.
