Greenland wax for waxed cotton canvas

With respect for the environment, Veinage has developed this 2 oz bar for you, made from a mixture of organic beeswax and paraffin wax, also called Greenland Style Wax . A complement that provides an extra layer of weather protection to your bags.

This water-repellent fabric wax can help improve durability, add reliable water-resistant protection and extend the life of a range of items such as bags, hats, jackets or camping gear. It is best used on natural fabrics, but it can also be used on blended fabrics rich in natural fibres.

Veinage suggests you use it as an addition to the wax coating on many previously waxed items and to revive their water-repellent nature. When applied to previously untreated canvas or denim fabric it will give a darker appearance and stiffer feel which will develop a patina over time and give them a water resistant finish.

Suitable for all oilcloth items.


Manual

• Clean stains and dust and dry your item before applying wax
• Rub the wax bar onto the fabric evenly and liberally
• Pay special attention to seams
• Use a hair dryer to melt the wax into the fabric
• Let it dry for a few hours
• Repeat as needed
